BEHIND THE LENS

I’m a photographic artist with over 20 years of experience. I always knew I wanted to be an artist, but instead of paints and brushes, I was drawn to the camera. Photography became my tool for expression—where light, composition, and emotion came together to tell a story.

I went on to study at RMIT, earning a Bachelor of Photography, and began my career in commercial retouching, working with top Australian post-production agencies. Alongside this, I spent time shooting products for one of the agencies, working in a studio environment where every detail—lighting, precision, and composition—had to be carefully considered. I loved the process of refining each shot to perfection, the technical challenge of shaping light, and the quiet focus it required.

While I built a strong technical foundation, my heart also remained in portraiture—the connection, the emotion, and the way a single image can hold so much depth.

Over the years, my work has evolved to reflect not just what I see, but how I feel. With training in yoga and meditation, I bring a calm and grounded presence to my photography, creating a space where people feel at ease. I believe the best images come from real connection, and I love helping people feel seen—whether it’s through portraiture, brand storytelling, or delicate floral compositions that speak of the quiet beauty of the natural world.

I work with creatives, wellness practitioners, and lifestyle brands to craft imagery that feels honest and intentional. My fine art prints are available through my online store, and my work is regularly featured in exhibitions.

Based in Bayside Melbourne, I offer studio and on-location sessions across Australia and take on commissions for bespoke photographic pieces.

Moving fluidly between the worlds of commercial photography and fine art, blending technical expertise with creative intuition, I also continue to work as a freelance retoucher, bringing my keen eye for detail to both personal and commercial projects.
